Yomi Fash emerges cultural ambassador for Olookun Festival

Nollywood actor, Yomi Fash Lanso has emerged cultural ambassador of Olokun festival 2015.
The actor, who recently lost his aged mother, was unveiled as the festival’s cultural ambassador at an elaborate event which held recently at the Suntan Beach in Badagry, Lagos.
Speaking after being named as a cultural ambassador, Yomi urged Nigerians to embrace the traditional beliefs and values of the people to avoid being culturally alienated.

“It was a beautiful event and I am proud to have been a part of it, not just about the Yoruba culture, but I would love to see changes in our cultural tourism industry.” He said.
Speaking further, the actor urged individuals to protect the Yoruba culture and heritage saying it is meant to be cherished and passed on to generations to come.
