You’re ‘wacky and totally unhinged’, Trump tells California billionaire calling for his impeachment

US President Donald Trump has fired back at billionaire environmentalist Tom Steyer who is calling for his impeachment via Twitter calling him “wacky & totally unhinged.”

Trump says Steyer “has been fighting me and my Make America Great Again agenda from the beginning,” adding the billionaire environmentalist “never wins elections!”

Steyer contends that Trump is pushing the U.S. toward a nuclear war, is obstructing justice at the FBI and threatening to shut down news organizations he doesn’t like.

The billionaire has thus vowed to spend at least $10 million in advertising which has been running on Fox News and other national outlets calling for the president’s impeachment.

In recent times, prominent Americans have been worried over the current state of affairs in the country with two ex-presidents George W Bush and Barrack Obama expressing their fears for America under Trump.

In recent comments seen as a veiled rebuke to Trump’s leadership style, Obama and Bush who were speaking separately and neither mentioned Trump by name bemoaned the current political climate in the country.

Mr Obama urged Americans to reject the politics of “division” and “fear”, while Mr Bush criticised “bullying and prejudice” in public life.
