Zamfara APC strong, intact in spite of our challenges, ex-Gov Yari claims
Zamfara State’s former governor, Abdul’aziz Yari, on Saturday said the All Progressives Congress (APC) was still strong and intact in the state, in spite of the challenges facing it.
He spoke at the party stakeholders’ meeting held at his residence in Talata-Mafara area of the state.
Addressing the crowd at the meeting, who came from the 14 local government areas of the state, the former governor urged them to remain calm and law-abiding.
He said, ”We are highly impressed with what we have witnessed today; this indicates that the APC remains strong and intact in the state.
”I thank you for your resilience in supporting the party in spite of the challenges.
“I am giving you the assurance that we will continue to provide good leadership to ensure peace and unity in our great party.”

APC chairman in the state, Lawal Liman, speaking earlier applauded Yari for his efforts at ensuring the party remained united
Liman explained that the meeting was put together by the state chapter of the APC to show solidarity to Yari as the leader of the APC in the Zamfara.
