Football can be a mystery! Real didn't deserve to lose —Zidane

Real Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente has heaped praises on the club’s manager, Zinedine Zidane, naming him the best coach they could possibly have.

The 22-year-old was holding a ‘question and answer’ on his Twitter account as fans bombarded him with questions including one on the French manager.

“Having him as manager is a real luxury,” Llorente replied.

“He is one of the best players ever and you learn from him, he is the best Coach we could possibly have.”

Real, defending champions of the UEFA Champions League, secured their first-ever win at Borussia Dortmund in a matchday 2 clash on Tuesday.

They have thus acquired 6 points from two matches in the group stage, and will host Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur in their next game, with the hope of a favourable outcome.

Llorente was also asked about his relationship with Madrid, to which he continued: “They are the club for me and for my family, they always have been.

“It’s incredible to play at the Bernabeu, the demands of the shirt means we must aim to win every match and every competition.

“Our aim this season is to retain La Liga and win a third Champions League competition in a row, alongside the Copa Del Rey and the Club World Cup.”

Real will host Espanyol this Sunday in their week 7 fixture of the La Liga.
