1. Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases hit 81 as COVID-19: US announces N2.6b aid to Nigeria

The United States Government Friday announced a $7 million (about N2.6 billion) emergency health and humanitarian aid to Nigeria to address the COVID-19 pandemic in the country. The US States Department said in a statement that this is part of a $274 million (N103 billion) assistance package to at least 63 countries affected by the disease. Read more

Kogi Government Friday suspended commercial motorcycle and tricycle operations as part of measures to curtail the spread of COVID-19 in the state.
