1. Coronavirus cases in Nigeria increase by 20, now 131

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) Monday night confirmed 20 fresh cases of coronavirus in the country. The centre said on its Twitter handle that 13 of the cases were in Lagos, four in Federal Capital Territory, two in Kaduna and one in Oyo State. Read more

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday signed the Covid-19 Regulations, 2020, which declared Covid-19 a dangerous infectious disease. The signing of the Regulation, according to a statement issued by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Femi Adesina, was In exercise of the powers conferred on President Buhari by Sections 2, 3 and 4 of the Quarantine Act (CAP Q2 LFN 2004), and all other powers enabling him in that behalf. 4. COVID-19: Ogun govt suspends total lockdown till Friday

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, on Monday shifted the commencement of the movement restriction in the state till Friday. President Muhammadu Buhari had on Sunday ordered a total cessation of movement in Lagos, Ogun and Abuja as part of measures to check further spread of coronavirus in the country.
