28-yr-old mother nabbed for selling baby for N300,000

Luck ran-out for a 28 year-old nursing mother who was arrested by men of the Nigerian police in Bayelsa State for allegedly selling her baby for the sum of N300, 000.

Oyinkepreye Enoch, the mother of the child according to Asinim Butswat, the spokesman of the Bayelsa State Police Command was arrested by officers of the Akenfa Division following a tip-off.

According to Butswat, the baby’s mother was arrested alongside the buyer of the baby when the deal was about to be struck.

“The suspect sold her child to one Esther Tony, 30, for N300,000. They are both undergoing interrogation at the Akenfa Police Station, Yenagoa, he said.
