Alleged randy OAU lecturer deletes Facebook account

Embattled Professor Richard Akindele the alleged randy lecturer who was caught on tape requesting for sex from one of his female students in exchange for marks has reportedly gone into hiding.

Various efforts to reach the lecturer of the Department of Management and Accounting of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun State, who was heard in a viral audio recording, demanding for sex to pass a female student, haveproved abortive.

Findings also reveal that Professor Richard, who is also a priest in the Anglican Church has since deleted his Facebook account after his demand for sex to pass a female student of his department who failed a course taught by the lecturer became public.

Reacting to the scandal in a statement, Prof. Eyitope Ogunbodede, the Vice Chancellor of the Obafemi Awolowo University, said the institution had zero tolerance for sexual harassment while also assuring that Professor Akindele will be made to face the music if he is found culpable.

Mr. Abiodun Olanrewaju, the Public Relations Officer of OAU, also urged any student who has equally been harassed by Professor Akindele to make a formal complaint against the lecturer who has been queried by the school authorities.

Meanwhile, the wife of the OAU lecturer who demanded five rounds of sex from the female student before she can pass his course has denied the allegations against her spouse saying the devil is out to tarnish her husband’s reputation.
