Arsenal needs consistency to win EPL-Wenger

Arsene Wenger has stressed the importance of consistency for Arsenal in a tight title race this season.

The Gunners showed their title credentials when they demolished rivals Manchester United 3-0 at the Emirates before the international break.

Speaking at a press conference Thursday morning, the Arsenal boss said: “The top eight can compete for the Premier League.

“It is difficult to rule anybody out.”

Wenger admits that winning the title requires consistency and he believes his Arsenal team still have to prove that they can perform at a high level, week-in, week-out.

“You can compete for the championship if you turn up and fight for every game.

“We need to show the same quality.”
