#BBOG faults Army, says Serah Luka not taken from Chibok

Controversy has continued to rage over the true identity of the second girl rescued by the Nigerian military, as the Bring Back Our Girls (#BBOG) advocacy group said the girl Serah Luka was an SS1 student of Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State, as at the time of her abduction and that she was not abducted in Chibok.
The group also stated that she was abducted in her home, Madagali in Adamawa state.
This was disclosed by the spokesperson of the group,  Sesugh Akume in a statement in Abuja on Friday.
“According to Haruna Mutali, a community leader in Chibok, their background checks have revealed that this second returnee, Miss Serah Luka was an SSS 1 learner at GSS Chibok, who was abducted by the insurgents in her home in Madagali.
“Every citizen returned is victory for us all. We appeal to the humanity in us to stay positively focused on emerging developments. We wish to advice caution in disseminating information too promptly, as we appeal that we respect the human dignity of our returnees and their loved ones, as we engage on this topic”, the #BBOG said in the statement.
It would be recalled that the Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Kukasheka Usman had, in a statement on Thursday night, announced the rescue of Miss Luka, claiming that she is one of the girls abducted in Chibok over two years ago.
However, the Chibok girls parents association debunked the claim, saying they have no name like Serah Luka on the list of missing girls.
