Buhari crying wolf over claims PDP, Atiku planning coup, Fani-Kayode blasts
Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, is of the opinion that President Muhammadu Buhari is crying wolf over allegations that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar are planning a coup.
Reacting further to the claims made by Buhari, Fani-Kayode in Twitter post said it is rather funny that the incumbent president who he claims has a stolen mandate could hide under his bed-sheet shouting “coup is coming”.
He wrote; “The Presidency, the military and the DSS ALL claim that “some people” are planning a coup.
“Why do you keep crying wolf? You stole a mandate and now you are shivering with fear, hiding under your beds and shouting “coup is coming!
The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, had yesterday reiterated that the federal government has credible evidence that the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, are doing everything possible to sabotage the current administration.
The minister, who spoke during the twelfth annual Ramadan lecture on Saturday in his Oro country home in Kwara state, claimed that the opposition party was overheating the polity to make Nigeria ungovernable.
