In an unprecedented move, Muhammad, who took a half page advertorial in Daily Trust Newspapers to decline her appointment, said she decided to reject her appointment via a newspaper publication because she got to know of it same way.
Claiming she was not consulted before naming her, the activist said she cannot but turn down the appointment but pledged to continue to support the administration of President Buhari for the sake of Allah and the country, Nigeria.
It would be recalled that the Federal Government, through the Minister of Education, had on Saturday, announced the sacking and replacement of 13 Vice Chancellors.
