Buhari’s rest continues, Osinbajo still Acting President
Although President Buhari is back in the country, he is not ready to resume work yet, and his vice, Yemi Osinbajo is to continue as acting president.
Buhari returned to Nigeria Friday morning, after spending about 50 days on an extended medical vacation.
The president on his return informed that his deputy will continue to be in charge for the time being until he is ready to return to work.
He stated this while meeting with officials that welcomed him back to the country, saying, “I will continue to rest”,

He, however, did not state when he would resume his duties, adding that with or without him, Nigeria will continue.
He is quoted to have also said, “I couldn’t recall being so sick since I was a young man, including in the military with its ups and downs”.
The president also asked those planning to visit him in whatever capacity to shelves such ideas for now, as he intends to continue his rest, even though he is back in Nigeria.
He also hinted that there are follow-ups he needs to do concerning his medical treatments.

No Wahala, we now have a ceremonial president without portfolio, why did he return when he knows he’s not yet fit to act as the president? This is absolute nonsense. Please return to United Kingdom

You Nigerians are sometimes senseless too. You are part of those who said he is dead and yet he has showed up to prove you wrong and now you are saying he should go back to the UK. He can choose to go back but mind you anyone can be sick, I pray you don’t experience sickness so you won’t know how it feels. You think buhari is happy that he is sick or in the UK. No president would even like to stay out of duty for that much days.

I just like buhari for one thing, he is not power drunk like others. If it were to be other leaders, they will force themselves to do what they should not do but he has committed his vice president to continue acting. I duff cap for this.

That’s baba buhari for you. He is honest, transparent, and corrupt free. Baba can never deceive Nigerians and he is concerned of Nigeria than any other thing. Insha Allahu, he will recovery fully back soon so he can join forces with osinbajo to fulfill his good dreams for the country.

I really wish Nigeria can continue to have a president like Buhari who cares more about the betterment of the country than himself. Buhari is in Nigeria, yet he says Osinbajo should keep being the acting president, what a massive display of humility and less power concern! May God continue to heal you Buhari, you’re a living hero.
