Cleaner in court for alleged theft of employer’s laptop
The Police on Wednesday arraigned a cleaner, Luke John, in a Karmo Upper Area Court, Abuja, for allegedly stealing his employer’s laptop.
John, who resides at Angwan Shehu, Karmo, was charged with theft.
The prosecutor, Ijeoma Ukagha, told the court that one Tasil Chineweike, of Utako Abuja, reported the matter at the Utako Police Station on March 7.
Ukagha said the defendant works as a cleaner in the complainant’s office.
He alleged that on Nov. 27, the cleaner stole his employer’s laptop, valued at N50,000, that was kept in the office.
