Confusion and uncertain drama trailed the inauguration of the 8th National Assembly as a proclamation letter from President Muhammadu Buhari was read out by Clerk of the National Assembly, Alhaji Salisu Maikasua for the inauguration.

The National Assembly at exactly 10: 00am commenced the inauguration as Deputy Clark of the Senate read out the names of Senators alphabetically and only about 57 of the 108 Senators were present, majority of them from the opposition PDP.

Na so APC wan take start? As a house divided against itself? Why can’t the party take a cue from The President and make the best of a bad situation by just forging ahead and letting bygones be bygones? They allowed themselves to be outsmarted by one of their own? Ehen? Dat one don pass. Things like this happen in politics, especially our brand of politics. So why these childish tantrums?
