Court voids PDP suspension of Sentor Kashamu
The suspension of Senator Buruji Kashamu by his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been nullified by the Abuja High Court.
The opposition party had on alleged anti-party activities suspended the senator who represents Ogun East senatorial district in the Senate.
His suspension was carried out by then Senator Ahmed Makarfi – led National Caretaker Committee of the party just few hours to the commencement of the December 9 national convention.

The senator had approached the court challenging his sack and ruling on the matter on Tuesday, Justice Valentine Ashi of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Apo, nullified the suspension.
The judge went further to ask the PDP not to again initiate any disciplinary actions against the senator.
