EFCC unfreezes Benue State accounts
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has unfrozen the bank accounts of the Benue State government.
This was confirmed by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Samuel Ortom, Mr Terver Akase, on Thursday.
It would be recalled that the EFCC had frozen the accounts of the state government in three banks on Tuesday, on the premise that it was investigating the state’s security votes.
