Guardiola to reveal his plans today

Pep Guardiola has rejected a contract extension at Bayern Munich and plans to reveal his future on Sunday.

Bayern Munich manager, Guardiola is set to become a hot commodity this June, perhaps even more sought after than some players. There have been reports linking him to Manchester City already, but they haven’t been confirmed by Guardiola himself. Of course, because the report comes from the Manchester Evening News, it’s hard to accept it at face value.

Bayern Munich’s 1-0 win over Hannover was overshadowed when a reporter asked him to clarify his future, which he responded to by saying “Tomorrow, tomorrow.”

Meanwhile, the Guardian has reported that a deal is in place for Carlo Ancelotti to take over the reigns at the Bavarian side.

The sooner this issue gets resolved, the better it is for all parties involved. Bayern Munich, who at one point looked like the best team in Europe, have stumbled across the line for 1-0 victories over Darmstadt and Hannover respectively.

The players and Guardiola seem distracted over what the future holds, and the revealing of his destination will put to bed all of the reports that are surfacing out there already. Remember, nobody knows what lies ahead for Pep Guardiola better than Guardiola himself.
