Katsina Utd reward players N50k each for Lobi draw

Players of Nigeria Professional Football League side Katsina United got N50,000 each courtesy of the club’s management following their 0-0 away draw against Lobi Stars on Sunday.

The Club’s official twitter handle revealed this on Monday.

The tweet, which disclosed that the N50,000 reward is for each of Katsina United’s 24-man squad, also revealed that a win against Lobi Stars would have seen each of the players smile home with N200,000.

“Katsina United pay 50,000 Naira to each player of 24-man squad for draw against Lobi Stars. Had they won, each player would get N200,000,” as tweeted by the Club on Monday.

Katsina United are currently 12th in the NPFL table on nine points, and they will host Shooting Stars of Ibadan in their matchday 9 fixture on Sunday.
