In from Ahmed Boulor . . .

Fuji musician, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal popularly referred to as KWAM 1 failed to appear before the Ogun State police command after being summoned over the shooting of a female undergraduate, Kofoworola Azeez, of the Olabisi Onabanjo University because he is on a trip to the United Kingdom.

Sources revealed that immediately he released a statement denying his involvement in the shooting (days after the police summoned him for interrogation) KWAM 1 hurriedly packed his bags and left for London.

Ogun State Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi however noted that KWAM 1 would still be required to honour the invitation when he returns to the country as his statement will assist the law enforcement agency to get more facts as to what actually happened on the night of the incident when Kofoworola was hit with a bullet.

The undergraduate was hit in the buttocks by a stray bullet while she sat inside an unregistered Honda car parked outside NASFAT building, close to Limelite Hotel where KWAM 1 performed on the same night the shooting took place.
