MAINA SPEAKS AGAIN FROM HIDING: Wants 5% of recovered N1.6tn

The former chairman of the Pension Reform Task Team, Mr. Abdulrasheed Maina, who has been declared wanted has again spoken out from hiding.

Maina in another video exclusively obtained by Channels Television made more startling revelations in a drama that has continued to unearth more controversies, surrounding how he was secretly recalled and reinstated into the federal civil service.

Maina in the new video claims that he and his team helped government recover about N1.6 trillion, and as such, deserves five per cent of the money, based on the whistle blower policy of the Nigerian government.

He also lamented that the government was unable to effectively fight corruption because those around the president were lying to him.

According to him, his reinstatement into the Federal Civil Service was based on the approval of the Office of the Head of Service of the Federation, the Federal Civil Service, and the Attorney General of the Federation.
