Makinde’s allegations against Ajimobi false – Oyo Govt

The Oyo State Government has reacted to allegations of financial misdeeds made by the camp of the state’s Governor-elect, Seyi Makinde against Governor Abiola Ajimobi, describing them as false.

Makinde’s Director of Media and Strategy, Mr Dotun Oyelade, had alleged that billions of naira had been moved from government coffers since the governorship election results were announced.

According to Oyalade, credible sources within the government revealed that non-visible contracts were being used to cart away billions from the government coffers with the connivance of some top civil servants.

However, the state’s Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Mr Toye Arulogun, said Oyalade’s statement was the latest in a series of propaganda meant to discredit the Ajimobi administration.
