Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw by Everton in a Premier League encounter at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

The game which saw Cristiano Ronaldo start from the bench, saw Anthony Martial score for the first time since February.

Martial’s 43rd minute effort put the Red Devils ahead at half time before Everton fought back in the second half.

It was Andros Townsend’s equaliser on 65 minutes that leveled both sides, and earned Everton a deserved point on the road.

Ronaldo came on in the 57th minute but had minimal impact either before or after the equaliser.

Super Eagles’ Everton forward Alex Iwobi was absent from the game as he was already ruled out of the encounter due to injury.
