Mariah Carey set to wed Australian billionaire

American singing sensation, Mariah Carey, is set to wed her Australian billionaire lover, James Packer.

The Aussie billionaire reportedly proposed to the velvety voiced singer seven months after they were both spotted together in Italy.

“We first met in Aspen, a couple of year’s ago. We met at the Hercules premiere. We were talking and laughing and people were getting mad at us and stuff like that. So we hit it off,” Carey said.

The artist is getting married again nearly two years after she divorced her ex-husband, Nick Cannon, who she married for six years.
