Mass protests in the UK over Brexit

The streets of London witnessed massive protests as scores of demonstrators marched out in numbers to register their disapproval against the referendum decision to exit the European Union.

The protests which was organised on social media saw thousands of demonstrators at the “March for Europe” rally, holding placards with “Bremain” and “We Love EU” inscribed on them.

In the referendum on 23 June the UK voted to leave the EU, with 51.9% in favour of leaving and 48.1% supporting Remain.

And following the massive demonstrations, critics are saying that those protesting over the outcome of the referendum were “having a tantrum”.
