Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Obaseki yesterday presented appropriation bill of N150,011,831,079 billion for the year, 2017 to the state House of Assembly for consideration. He promised that the budget would lay the road map towards transforming the state to one of the most prosperous states in the country.
He said the budget of “Consolidation and prosperity” has been carefully crafted by his administration to actualise all the promises made during the electoral campaign.
Besides, it hopes to pursue the “faithful contract with all Edo people to consolidate on the progress which as a people have achieved over the last eight years” under the government of former Governor Adams Oshiomhole and “to continue in our steadfast match to build a greater tomorrow for the people of the Heart Beat state.”
