Nigeria duo of Bartholomew Ogbeche and Odion Ighalo continued their superlative performance on Saturday by scoring and helping their respective clubs salvage a point.
Cambuur of Holland with Ogbeche in action, failed to win their first game of the season after drawing 1-1 away from home against Roda zambuur.
Ogbeche, who tapped in from close range after Peersman nodded on a corner to the back post for the Nigerian to score his fourth of the season.
Roda pulled level thanks to Tom van Hyfte, who acrobatically connected with a Ard van Peppen cross 20 minutes from time.
Ogbeche had the chance to give Cambuur the victory in the final few moments but the forward blasted his shot over the bar. The draw keeps Roda in sixth in the Eredivisie while Cambuur remain without a win in 17th.
Meanwhile, Odion Ighalo on Saturday scored his 5th goal of the season and his 21st goal of the year as Watford forced a 1-1 draw against AFC Bournemouth in one of the English Premier League games.
Glenn Murray scored the first goal for Bournemouth at Dean Court, but missed a penalty to win it late on.

The Hornets were gifted their equaliser when goalkeeper Artur Boruc misplaced his kick to striker Ighalo who enjoyed the simplest of tap in to increase his goal tally.
At the Etihad, birthday boy Kelechi Iheanacho enjoyed some playing time as his team Manchester City crushed Newcastle United 6-1.
Iheanacho was by no means the centre of attraction but Sergio Aguero who scored five times in 20 minutes as Manchester City came from behind to thrash Newcastle 6-1 and return to the Premier League summit.
In other games Victor Moses had a share of the spoils as Sunderland played out a 2-2 draw at home to West Ham.
Moses and his teammates were hoping for a fourth successive win on the road but that was not to be as they could only get a point at the Stadium of Light
