Ortom crosses final hurdle, as Supreme Court upholds his election

Just 1yr in office, EFCC probes Gov Ortom over N4.29bn transfer

Benue State governor, Samuel Ortom, got a final validation for his election on Friday, as the Supreme Court upheld his victory at the April 11, 2015 governorship election in the state.

The Supreme Court, in a lead judgement read by Justice Sylvester Ngwuta, dismissed the appeal before it by the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Terhemen Tazoor.
