Oshiomhole on his way back to Nigeria after his alleged runaway

National chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, alleged to have absconded the country is on his way back.

Reports had claimed that Oshiomhole ran to the United Kingdom to escape further probing, after he was allegedly questioned by the Department of State Services (DSS) last Sunday, over allegations that he received bribes during the party’s primary elections.

The secret police was said to have also quizzed Oshiomhole over his alleged involvement in corrupt practices during his tenure as Edo State governor.

An APC chieftain and Director General of Voice of Nigerian had on Thursday accused Oshiomhole of running away from his alleged crime and advised him to rather resign as APC national chairman than trying to abscond the country.

Also, the PDP which had accused President Muhammadu Buhari of trying to shield the APC chairman from being probed also on Thursday called on the DSS and Interpol police to ensure they track Oshiomhole down.

However, monitored reports suggest that the controversial and blunt national chairman of the ruling APC is already on his way back to Nigeria to face his attackers.
