The Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has left the country to London in the United Kingdom to meet with the ailing President Muhammadu Buhari.

Osinbajo who left Abuja Tuesday evening is expected to return immediately after.

The Senior Special Assistant, Media And Publicity to Osinbajo, Laolu Akande made this known on his twitter handle on Tuesday, but gave no further details.

Osinbajo has been acting as president in the absence of Buhari who has been in London on a follow-up treatment for the last 65 days.

There have been concerns over the present state of health of President Buhari whose nature of ailment has been kept a closely guarded secret.

Recently, the Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose claimed that Buhari has been on life support since June 6.

Meanwhile a recent claim by the wife of the president Aisha Buhari that God has answered the prayers of the “weaker animals” and that “the hyenas” and “the jackals” would soon be evicted from “the kingdom,” seems to have diffused Fayose’s claim.

According to her, her husband would soon return to take his place as head of government of Nigeria.

Content of the meeting is what Nigerians should focus on. We need to know what they discussed and the current state of Buhari’s health, ifbthe president is doing well or not.
