Patience Jonathan visits Aso Rock, holds discussions with Aisha Buhari

Former First Lady, Patience Jonathan on Monday paid a visit to wife of the president, Aisha Buhari at the Aso Rock Villa.

Mrs Jonathan’s visit to the President’s wife was confirmed in a Facebook post by Aisha on Tuesday morning.

The visit according to Aisha Buhari centred mostly on women participation in local politics, girl-child education and Mrs Jonathan’s ongoing pet project, ‘Women for Change’.

“I got to hear about her experience during her tenure and listened to her perspectives on the issues affecting women and children in the society.

“It was really nice having her around and I look forward to having more of such moments”, the President’s wife wrote on her Facebook wall.

In recent times, Aisha Buhari has been hosting former first ladies after Mrs Turai Yar’Adua, came visiting a few days ago.
