PDP loses Lagos chairman to APC

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has lost its State Chairman for Lagos, Chief Moshood Salvador to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

Salvador, who has been having a running battle with a former Deputy National Chairman of the party, Chief Bode George, announced his defection on Monday at his Salvador Towers residence in Lagos.

It would br recalled that Salvador was recently discharged and acquitted of murder charges by a Chief Magistrate Court in Lagos after he was arrested and charged to court on suspicion that he had a hand in the murder of the Apapa Local Government Area chairman of the PDP.

The slain PDP LG boss was killed at a reconciliation meeting of the party, when hoodlums stormed the gathering and opened fired on those in attendance.
