Former Nigeria international, Samson Siasia has been banned from all football related activities by FIFA for being guilty of accepting to receive bribe and manipulate matches.

Siasia was also fined $50,000 by the world football governing body.

The sanction stems from an ongoing ‘large-scale investigation’ which Fifa is conducting into the behaviour of Wilson Raj Perumal, a convicted match-fixer from Singapore.

FIFA however failed to name the actual matches that Siasia agreed to help betting baron to manipulate, as the former Nigeria coach has managed national teams at different times.

He has also served as coach of the Nigeria’s Under-20 and Under-23 sides.

Meanwhile, Siasia has denied any wrong doing, and claimed he was hearing about the allegation for the first time.
