Saudi police gun down two wanted "dangerous terrorists"

Saudi police on Saturday gunned down two “dangerous terrorists” who were spotted in a house in Riyadh during an operation in the area.

The suspects Tayeh al-Saihari and Talal al-Saidi both wanted by Saudi authorities were shot and killed by security forces when they surrounded the house at dawn and ordered the suspects to surrender, according to the ministry spokesman.

Reports say when the suspects were surrounded by police, they were asked to surrender but they refused and opened fire on the police who then launched an assault and killed them both.

Two explosive belts “ready to be activated” were found in the house, as well as a homemade bomb and material that could be used to make explosives, Saudi interior ministry said.
