Six survivors rescued from Brazilian soccer team plane crash

Rescue operators who swung into action following a plane crash involving members of a Brazilian soccer team, Chapecoense FC; have informed that only six survivors, including three football players have been rescued from the rubble of the crash which killed 75 people.

Flight 2933- a chartered plane, was on its way for the first leg of a two-game Copa Sudamericana final (a regional tournament) against Atletico Nacional when it crashed near Medellin in Colombia.

According to aviation authorities, the British Aerospace 146 short-haul plane, operated by a charter airline named LaMia, declared an emergency and lost radar contact just before 10pm Monday (0300 GMT) because of an electrical failure, before it crashed.
