The body of the man who committed suicide by jumping into Lekki Toll gate area of Lagos Lagoon last Friday has been found.

The body of the man, who was later identified as Oluseye Adekunle, was discovered by a local fisherman Sunday morning at about 5:00am as it was floating by the river bank around Lekki-Ikoyi Bridge.

Speaking on the development, the general manager of LASEMA, Adesina Tiamiyu, said that the police will now carry out more investigation on the matter.

He called on Lagosians to try and always be their brother’s keeper and report incidences that may lead one to want to take their own life on time so that a repeat of such sad incident in the state may be avoided.
