Unidentified man found hanging in Delta

Residents of Umuagu area of Asaba,the Delta State woke up Friday morning to discover the body of an unidentified man hanging in front of a shop in the area.

According to the residents of the area, the man was found hanging on the roof of a store located on a road, adding that the man is not known in the area.

Conforming the development, the spokesperson of the Delta State Police Command, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, said the Force was already on top of the situation.

“The police have received the report of the incident and we are investigating the case to ascertain the cause of death,” she said.

She also added that the corpse has since been evacuated to the morgue.
