With over N14m monthly pay, Senators fail to pay aides
Aides of federal legislators on Tuesday, embarked on a protest for the non-payment of their salaries and other entitlements by the National Assembly and their principals.
The aides, who gathered at the foyer of the National Assembly, singing solidarity songs, embarked on a similar protest in October 2017.
The protest is coming on the heels of revelations that members of the National Assembly receive about N13.5 million monthly as their running costs and about N750, 000 as basic salary.
