Super Eagles duo, Alex Iwobi and Victor Moses were both in action for their respective clubs in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi final clash at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night.

Iwobi’s Arsenal came from behind to beat Moses’ Chelsea in a thrilling encounter.

After a goalless first leg at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea took the lead when Tiemoue Bakayoko played the ball into Pedro and he released to Eden Hazard who slotted past David Ospina from 12 yards out in the 7th minute.

But the advantage only lasted five minutes before Nacho Monreal’s header bounced off Marcos Alonso and then Antonio Rudiger and into his own net.

Granit Xhaka then pounced on the hour mark to seal the winner for the home side.

Iwobi, before coming off for Aaron Ramsey, would have added a third for Arsenal, but his shot was blocked by the legs of Willy Caballero.

Arsenal will now play Manchester City, who saw off Bristol City in the other semifinal tie, in the final of the League Cup at Wembley on 25 February.
