Buhari’s emergence as president 2nd greatest calamity to befall Africa —Fani-Kayode
Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has described the emergence of Muhammadu Buhari as Nigeria’s president as the second greatest calamity to have befallen the African continent in the last 20 years.
The former minister rated the killing of Muammar Ghadaffi of Libya as the greatest calamity to hit Africa, adding that the full implications of his death and the emergence of Buhari as Nigeria’s leader are yet to be seen.
He was reacting to a story trending online and in different social media platforms of how some Libyans are allegedly selling Nigerians and other Africans in their country to Saudi Arabians as slaves.
The erstwhile Aviation Minister said on his twitter handle, “Strife, terror, chaos, war, division, poverty, radical Islam and the buying and selling of African slaves are alive and well in Libya. I hope those in the west that orchestrated the removal and murder of Ghadaffi and those in Africa that supported it are pleased with themselves.

“The greatest calamity that befell Africa in the last 20 years was the murder of Muammar Ghadaffi in Libya. The second was the coming to power of Muhammadu Buhari in Nigeria.
“The full implications of these 2 tragic, monumental and cataclysmic events are yet to be seen”.

Democracy tolerates so much nonsense sometimes, if it were to be in the days of military, by now fani kayode would have been in the grave or prison for defamation of character but freedom of speech is making him saying nonsense.

This has nothing to do with his children, a father can be irresponsible and still have good kids that are more reasonable than him, don’t drag his family into his senseless comments please

Can somebody please shut this Fani Kayode up? He should reserve all his hate speeches until his party – PDP returns to power, we don’t need his attention seeking strategy, we’ve had enough already

Jonathan’s emergence was the greatest calamity that occurred on Africa, he allowed terrorism into Nigeria, permitted politicians to steal from public funds, he left the entire country broke and citizens crying in poverty! Fani-Kayode should think like human being, if Jonathan wasn’t Nigeria’s president, most of the challenges Buhari is facing in Nigeria now won’t be there

Greatest mistake indeed! To the northerners, he is the best until he gets someone to challenge him from the north…
