Lagos speaks on violence against women, demolitions

Lagos State Commissioner For Women Affairs And Poverty Alleviation, Hon. Lola Akande on Tuesday briefed the media on Ewuro Play Project To Sensitize On Violence Against Women. Others at the briefing at Alausa, Ikeja were Permanent Secretary, Ministry of WAPA, Mrs. Folasade Adesoye and Project Coordinator, Ewuro Project, Mr. Ayoola Jolayemi.

The Lagos State Commissioner Information & Strategy, Mr. Steve Ayorinde; his counterpart for the Environment, Dr. Babatunde Adejare; Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Physical Planning & Urban Development, Mrs. Boladele Dapo-Thomas and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media, Mr. Idowu Ajanaku also held a briefing on the state government’s position on the demolition of illegal structures under high tensions and river banks in the State.
