Actress Shaffy Bello worried over influence of tech on younger generation
Veteran Nollywood actress Shaffy Bello has shared her concerns over technology’s influence on the younger generation of children in Nigeria and beyond.
The thespian who expressed her worries during a chat on Tope Olowoniyan’s talk show said that the younger generation is getting carried away with technology.
Though she acknowledges that technology has its positive side as it fixes things and makes life easier, Shaffy Bello believes it can be harmful if not used carefully.

“The younger ones are missing out in a lot of ways. The younger generation is getting carried away with technology, the same technology that is fixing things and making life easier for you. However, I believe it can also be destructive if one is not careful,” she said.
Although she admitted that growing up in the modern world is far more challenging than it was in her own, she conceded that despite having some insight, she may not be completely aware of the difficulties experienced by young people today.
“It is much more difficult to be alive now than it was when we were growing up, it was harder for us then. I had my daughter at 26,” the versatile actress said.
