Bayern extend lead at top of Bundesliga with St. Pauli win
Leroy Sane’s brace helped Bayern Munich secure a win over St Pauli, extending their Bundesliga lead to six points.
Harry Kane opened the scoring, converting Michael Olise’s cross for his 22nd league goal. Elias Saad leveled for St Pauli, slipping past Bayern’s defense to slot home.
Olise then set up Sane with a superb pass over the top, which the winger controlled and fired past Nikola Vasilj.

Sane sealed the win with a composed finish from Kane’s low cross.
Lars Ritzka pulled one back for St Pauli in stoppage time, but it was only a consolation.
Bayern remain on track for a 34th German title, with Bayer Leverkusen in second. However, they face defensive concerns, with Alphonso Davies out for the season due to a cruciate ligament injury and Dayot Upamecano sidelined after a knee issue on international duty with France.
