Trump denies meeting Secret Service over Clinton’s assassination comments
Republican nominee Donald Trump has denied being invited over by the Secret Service after he delivered what was seen as an incitement to violence against Hillary Clinton.
CNN’s national security correspondent Jim Scuitto said officials had told him of ‘multiple conversations’.
‘I am told that the campaign response was that he did not intend to incite violence,’ he said.

Trump in a recent tweet denied ever having any meeting with the Secret Service shortly after the story went on air noting that it was ‘made up’.
‘No such meeting or conversation ever happened.’ His tweet read.
The federal agency told CNN of the conversations with the campaign after calls were made for an investigation into him.
