The Edo State governorship election tribunal sitting in Abuja has reserved judgment in the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its governorship candidate, Mr. Asue Ighodalo, challenging the outcome of the September 21, 2024, governorship election in the state.

The petitioners are challenging the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declaration of Governor Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the election over alleged widespread irregularities in the poll.
