Iheanacho wins CNN goal of the week award

Super Eagles and Manchester City striker, Kelechi Iheanacho’s wonder goal against Tanzania during last Saturday’s AFCON 2017 qualifier has been voted as CNN Goal of the week.

Iheanacho’s goal went viral on the internet with most people praising the technique behind the volley which separated Nigeria from Tanzania and, help new manager Gernot Rohr start his tenure on a winning note.

According to CNN on its twitter handle, the 19 year old effort from the edge of Tanzania box was selected as the winner out of all the goals scored during the recently concluded international break.

Iheanacho could be in action Manchester City take on Manchester United in the Manchester derby following the suspension of star forward Sergio Kun Aguero.
