Lawan reappoints Onemola, ex-aide to Saraki as new media assistant

Lawan-led Senate swears in first ad-hoc committee, adjourn sitting to July 2

Senate President Ahmed Lawan has re-appointed Olu Onemola to serve as his special assistant on new media.

Onemola had also served as special assistant on new media to the immediate past Senate President, Bukola Saraki in the 8th Senate.

The appointment was disclosed in a statement the Chief of Staff to the Senate President, Mohammed Babagana Aji, made available to newsmen on Wednesday.

According to the statement, Lawan also appointed Betty Okoroh (SA) Administration, Mohammed Isa (SA) Media and Publicity, Tope Brown Olowoyeye (Photographer) while Ogechukwu Nwankwoh was appointed as Senior Legislative Aide on Schedules and Events.

The appointment takes effect immediately.
