10 ISIS militants arrested in Morocco
10 men who run a suspected militant cell said to be inspired by ISIS have been arrested with Moroccan authorities saying the suspects were planning series of attacks in the north African country.
The group of 10 which was operating in the eastern city of Oujda, and the town of Tendrara in the same region bordering Algeria is the latest of a series of radical groups said to have been dismantled by Moroccan authorities.
According to the Moroccan Interior Ministry, the cell members who were planning to rob a mall in the city of Oujda to fund their attacks across the kingdom includes an Algerian national living in Morocco illegally, according to the statement carried by state news agency MAP.
