Super Eagles captain, has been granted permission by his French club, Lille, to miss the club’s next two matches to allow him stage a befitting funeral for his late mother.

The goalkeeper, who flew into Nigeria at the weekend, was suspended for Lille’s last outing at Reims last Friday after his recent expulsion against Rennes.

After announcing last Thursday that Enyeama would be back between the posts against Nantes, Lille coach Herve Renard admitted Monday they had to let Enyeama fly out to Nigeria because of mounting family pressure.

“There was some changes this weekend, from what was previously planned. The pressure from the family was very high. And then, it will be the international break,” Renard told L’Equipe.

He is however expected to be absent during Lille’s next two Ligue 1 fixtures against Nantes at home on Tuesday evening, and against Montpellier on Friday night.
