Nicki Minaj reveals why she featured Davido on new song
The American rapper, Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty aka Nicki Minaj, has explained why featured Nigerian Afropop singer Davido on her new song titled: “If It’s Okay.”
The popular female lyricist said in an Instagram live session she featured Davido in the album because he is an incredible writer and melody maker.

Nicki Minaj, who responded to a question by an Instagram user on Davido’s involvement in the song, said: “That man is an incredible writer and melody maker. It’s always a pleasure working with him because of our mutual respect for one another.
“I asked him to be a part of it to bring out the Afrobeats tempo/feeling in it a bit more. Nigeria to the world.”
